Hello.
I’m Adam Haywood. I turn business problems into effective strategies and ideas. I’ve spent twenty-three years working with organisations such as Honda, Diageo, Sony, Barclaycard, Tesco, Pernod Ricard and Netflix.
Have been working with the internet since 1999 — originally helping brands like Peugeot, Budweiser, HSBC and Guinness.
Had the privilege of working with the Honda brand for five years across cars, motorcycles and power equipment in all types of media, whilst heading up the creative departments of two different marketing agencies and working alongside Wieden+Kennedy.
Once launched a startup, raised seed capital, received backing from Google and now mentor businesses at Virgin StartUp.
Currently, I’m helping brands and agencies create and write strategic positionings, run workshops, develop tone of voice and values and improve the way they write and implement creative briefs.

Over the years, I’ve gained experience in pretty much every industry sector going and created ideas across a broad range of media.
From helping to pass a bill through Parliament for Which? The Consumers’ Association, picked up awards for relaunching Guinness.com and created an app for HSBC before the iPhone existed.
I’ve taken golf out of stuffy country clubs and onto the streets of Shoreditch with Jameson Irish Whiskey, built a Dutch barge for Grolsch — helped Tesco Mobile to educate parents when buying their child’s first phone and created a tv ad for Netflix that asked people to not watch it.
Whether I’m writing a brand strategy or crafting a piece of creative — ideas are the currency.
